Carpe Dink'em Pickleball runs indoor sessions at Coolum State High School on School Road, Coolum Beach. It's an indoor venue, which means no sun, no wind, and no cancellations for rain. Courts are set up across the sports hall with proper pickleball nets and lines.
Free parking is available on site, and the venue is easy to find — just head to the sports hall when you arrive.
What sessions are available?
Sessions run across the week for all skill levels:
- Social Saturdays (8:30–10:30 AM) — beginner-friendly, perfect for first-timers
- Monday & Wednesday Intermediate (6:00–8:00 PM) — for 3.0–3.5 level players
- Thursday Advanced (6:00–8:00 PM) — 3.5+ rated players
- Sunday Skills & Drills (8:30–10:30 AM) — coached session for all levels
- Upper Advanced / King Queen of the Court (10:30 AM–12:30 PM Saturdays)
- Ladies Only (12:30–2:30 PM, last Saturday of each month)
How much does it cost?
Casual sessions are $15. Skills & Drills coaching sessions are $25. If you play regularly, a 10-session pass is $120 — that's $12 per session and it never expires.
Do I need my own paddle?
No — paddle hire is available at every session for $3 (basic) or $5 (premium demo paddle). You don't need to bring any equipment for your first session.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Social Saturdays is specifically designed for people who have never played before. The host will walk you through the basics before play starts, and the relaxed atmosphere means there's no pressure. Most first-timers are rallying within 15 minutes.
